Title: Jimmy and Cynthia at Faslane Peace Camp, circa 1997

This work was created from one of Michaels’ photographs taken in 1997 while visiting his friend Jimmy, also from Blantyre, who lived at Faslane Peace Camp at the time. At this point in his career Michael took lots of photographs on a small manual 35mm camera which provided source material for his prints and exhibitions. Jimmy’s caravan is on permanent display at The Riverside Museum (previously The Transport Museum) in Glasgow.
